This week I am talking about a book called Ginger Pye by Eleanor Estes.
It is the story of a little dog named Ginger, his masters Rachel and Jerry, and their Uncle Benny, who is three years old. It teaches a lesson in determination – Jerry, Rachel and Uncle Benny never give up on their dog, and they are rewarded for it in the end.
I hope you enjoy listening!!

I finished reading a young adult book the other day and thought of you. It’s called Hattie Big Sky, and it’s about a teenage girl who inherits her Uncle’s homestead out west and moves out there to “prove up” his claim. She goes through some hardships and adventures, and works really hard learning how to run a farm.. I won’t say anything more. 🙂
Great podcast! I’ve really enjoyed listening.

Bethany,
That sounds like a really good book! I checked my library’s website – they have it at another branch. I’ll ask Ms. April if she can get it for me when I go back on Tuesday. 🙂
I loved Princess Bride! Thanks for the recommendation! 😀 I have Stardust on hold and will be picking that up on Tuesday also. LOL
Thanks!!
